Education- Grade Schools

Catholic Partnership Schools is committed to strengthening and sustaining the educational excellence of the Catholic, K-8 schools that serve the children of Camden.  This network of five Partnership Schools nurtures communities grounded in faith and values. DSW hosts volunteers as teaching assistants at Holy Name School in North Camden.

Social Work

Founded in 1995 with the belief that the complex needs of urban family life in North Camden must be better served, GFS offers clinical counseling and direct social services focusing on families in distress.

Youth Development

Hopeworks ‘N Camden is a nonprofit that has been working for over 15 years with Camden youth. Utilizing an advanced training curriculum in web design/development, GIS and Salesforce, Hopeworks works with youth 14­-23 to get back in school and find a safe pathway to their future.

Healthcare

The mission of Project H.O.P.E. is to improve the health and well being of homeless persons and others in need within the greater Camden, New Jersey area by providing primary, preventative, and related health services. The City of Camden is the largest urban center in southern New Jersey, with a population of 78,675 residents, and is ranked as the most economically depressed city in New Jersey and one of the most economically depressed cities in the United States.

Education

Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School is an independent, Catholic, college preparatory school for students of all faiths who cannot otherwise afford a private education.  Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School nurtures and challenges young women and men to recognize and realize their full potential as they grow to love God, respect others and serve their community.
